Turkey Day

Thanksgiving day is upon us. It may be a little cliche but i would just like to take a little time to give thanks to the people in my life that have been making a difference lately. First of all my wife. She has supported me and even joined in on my crossfit endeavors. Next is Chad and Dale, these two guys have been instrumental in my improvement mentally and physically. Some times its hard to keep your head in the game but they are always encouraging and will give you a little kick in the pants whenever necessary.
With crossfit, as with any fitness program, you have to be willing to do the work. It all ways helps to have someone in your life that wants you to succeed just as much as you do. This can come from your family, friends, or coach, lucky for me I have this in all of these people! I am truly blessed and know that if you have anyone like this in your life you are blessed as well. Thanks guys for all of the love and support!

Mike

Wow

I've been talking about doing this for months now and have finally gotten around to it. Whirl winds, cyclones, tornadoes, hurricanes could not describe my life as of late. I am a certified trainer at Crossfit Leander and have been subscribing to Crossfit for about 7 months now. To say that I have changed would be an understatement. To date I have lost approx. 50lbs of fat and gained about 15 in muscle. The transformation has been fun/ridiculously difficult. Maybe a strange combination to most but to anyone familiar with crossfit you probably understand. I could go on and on for hours but i will keep this first post brief. My goal with this blog is to provide encouragement, entertainment, and in site into my struggles and achievements that come along with my journey. It may have no subject specifically other than the fact that it comes from my head to the page. I look forward to sharing with everyone and getting your feedback.

Late,
Brother in CF Mike
